I have to say my favorite is Battlestar Galactica. What they have done to a clunky formulatic Star Wars rip off, is make it into one of the best most provocative take on today's world since Star Trek OS.

How It's Made is addicting, I watched it once and thought that it was a kids show, and perhaps it is, but still, very neat to see how everyday products come to be.

Exhibit A is good, although I don't really see it on anymore, do you have any information as to the times that it's on?
