Hehe, this is pretty funny! Germany, multiple soccer world champion and 2006 world cup host, is in serious trouble to beat the US team at this moment. And I thought the fifth grade of the Hauptschule Duisburg-Rheinhausen could easily take on the US soccer team...

Seriously now, what is the matter with Germany lately? Are they ready for the World Cup?

Erm...1-0 to Germany now...

But there were way too many fouls in the game so far. Not very fluid.

Is there an alternative GER-USA friendly that they show on ESPN?

And is there an alternative USA team that is not #5 in the world rankings?

And is there an alternative you that actually has a clue of what he's talking about?

Questions over questions. But German soccer sucks noodles these days, that much is for sure. But who's ready for WC and who's not will show when WC starts, and not a day earlier.

As was the 3-0. The US boys should better start kicking our asses soon, it's not that long to play anymore...

4:0 now. Three goals in only 6 minutes, pretty entertaining.

Dunno if he touched Kahn before or after he missed the ball.
Anyway, who cares?

But to hear the Dortmund audience shout "Olli! Olli!" was a bit odd... Big grin

U.S. soccer apologists everywhere are weeping..

BTW, 4-1 is an asskicking. A 0-0 first-half where your 'keeper gets bombarded is not. If it wasn't for Keller, it could easily be 6-1 by now. None of the goals were really his fault except maybe the second one where he was out of position and got caught by surprise.

The US did much better against us in the quarter final 2002, even though they lost against Germany at that time, as well.

Now its over... We will become WELTMEISTER 2006!!!

Well, after Germany cheated to knock us out of the last World Cup, I think this friendly is a way to relax them to sleep so we can pounce this summer.

Oh well, New Orleans Magpies will take revenge when they face Bochum Flyers  Silly

Hehe, sorry for the thread title. I was referring to the first half, which was kind of disappointing from a German perspective. Excellent 2nd half though. Can't wait for the World Cup!
