Despite what I wrote in this thread What's Your Job & Do You Enjoy It? (by AirbusA346 Mar 28 2006 in Non Aviation)
I had a crap day at work and I am getting a cold. When I got home my wife said she had just the dinner for me and made me bangers and mash, peas and gravy. The mash had lots of cheese in and the gravy was spicy tomato and onion, after that lot I feel much better!

So what is your comfort food that cheers up your mood?

ps the hot toddy with plenty whisky didn't hurt!

After Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says WTF...

I'm generally partial to thick hearty food like bangers and mash or steak pies but I'm fed up of the sluggish feeling, and this evening after a nice tofu stir-fry prepared by the wife I feel great!

mac and cheese.

preferably homemade, but if in a bind, the blue box with powder will make do.

also, coq au vin.

A bowl of a ceral like Sugar Pops or similar covered in 1/2 & 1/2. Pure fat and sugar, puts me into a nice mellow coma.

Junky meal: Kraft macaroni and cheese...yep, the powdered-mix kind. No other macaroni and cheese will do.

Real meal: A nice Lamb biryani.
