A bomb exploded at a Tim Hortons in Toronto's Yorkville area and another Tim Hortons store has been evacuated at Yonge and Lawrence farther uptown because of a suspicious package.
I live at Yonge & Lawrence. I was driving home just now and got detoured due to the road closure in front of the brand new Timmy's store.

Wow damn, that's not good! I was hoping it was an April Fool's joke a day too late. Just one thing G, your title made me think it happened at the airport ...
Hopefully this is a one-off incident.

Find out who placed the bomb, why they placed the bomb and what group (if any) they're affiliated to. Then give them the longest sentence we can. If this is linked to any of Canada's 'ideals' (not that we like to meddle much in international affairs) then we need to come down HARD on this before it spreads. If it's a one off, isolated incident then we need to throw the book at the perp hard. Canada has to stop displaying itself as the international home of 'we'll let you off lightly'.
Not so happy cheers

I am waiting to see what the cause is....trust me, you don't want to hear me speak my mind. i admire Canada's role, but there's a time and a place when WE have to stand up for ourselves instead of giving constantly.
Cheers

OK, I found some information. Unfortunately, one person died in that explosion that happened in a washroom. At first, I was afraid that it might be yet another terrorist attack, but now it doesn't look that way.

I had heard earlier that the man who died may have walked into the bathroom with explosives on him, although that story has since been taken down. Hopefully the person killed was not just an innocent bystander. Hopefully they catch the people behind this and toss them in jail for the rest of their God given lives.

D'oh! Sorry about that.
The other Tim Hortons (with the suspicious package) is just up the street. The Global and CTV helicopters are flying over my house. Is this what it's like for people who live in Compton?

Even I was laughing when I saw the title, but was not amused to find that it was not an April fool joke.
So sad to see these kind of things that we read on papers/TV to happen so close by.
I hope and pray this will be the last of any such incident here.
