not weird at all... my old dog used to hunt birds, mice and flies. I experienced twice where he came back with a mouse in his mouth lol Big grin

One of my cats caught a ciccada once.. was quite a laugh to see the cat sitting there, with this big bug buzzing in his mouth.

Has anyone tried giving a marshmallow to a dog? They play with it for ages because they don't know what to do with it!

My cats have eaten house caterpillars before... Nasty looking buggers that actually don't eat any human food - rather they eat more harmful insects.

Funny to watch, because house caterpillars have a gazzillion long legs and can run faster than any bug I've ever seen... The cats pounce repeatedly across the room until they finally manage to get a paw on the thing.

Our moggies love to eat spiders but their favourite dish is moths - the bigger the better, you can hear em crunching on them - makes me shudder!!

Our cats loooove Bermuda cockroaches....big bastards...and if they're the flying ones, all the better.

I love my cats for this.

Although one of them brought in a semi-dead mouse the other night. We think he intended it as a gift....

lol this thread is real random!

My lil westie (dog) has brought us 2 dead birds and also a semi dead bird, he knows how to shut the back door by nudging it so he done that and left the bird in there flapping like mad, he loves to eat spiders and chases them round the house, we think in a former life he was a cat as he acts just like them.

AA61hvy, maybe I ought to stick to really interesting and new topics, like politics and religion!  Wink
