Hey guys! I'm going to New Orleans on vacation in a week and I although I have my trip rather well planned out,am wondering what restaurants in the French Quarter are well worth the cost and experience? One of my friends recommended Remoulade, and from what I heard I'll definitely give that restaurant a shot. Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Well, I've lived here my whole life and have never been there or heard about it, but it's probably good. Of course Commander's Palace is good, Arnauds, etc. The hamburgers at Port-O-Call are awesome if you want something that's not as upscale. Just watch out for the Monsoons...

I lived in New Orleans in uptown for 5 years. Where do you live Sophie. Commander's is great..try to get a kitchen table. Also, R and O's is awesome for burgers and is casual and Cafe du Monde is good in the French Quarter.

Lol, I lived on Camp Street, what about you. Is PJ's still near camp on either Jefferson and St. Charles?

I think there is still a PJ's there on Magazine I believe. I live right off of Carrollton and St. Charles...won't get any more specific...I might get a perv on my front doorstep!
