ADSL, 384-1500 kbps down, 128-384 kbps up.

Iflycoach, how the heck do you get 800 kbps upstream with ADSL? I thought only SDSL offered the same speed both ways.

To tell you the truth I have VDSL so my Television also comes threw my phone line but... since the television takes out about 3/4 the bandwith I get about a 800kbps upload. Now think if we did not have the TV hooked up there how fast would it go!!!! Also other reasons I get killer speed is the amount of people on the OC 15 line. Non Hahaha

I've heard of OC-X lines (up to OC-48), but never VDSL. What exactly is VDSL?

28.8k. Fast enough for the forum if A.N constantly sends info. Problem is that sometimes, the info flow stops.

56k. The fastest available where I live. That is supposed to change by December with either cable coming or high-speed phone line access.

My connection speed is a paltry 31 200 bps. Desperately slow, although I have seen faster from this location, but through a different ISP. Satellite is beginning to look like the answer.

I used to have a cable and now in my new apartment I have ADSL @ 1.5M because the property management company does not allow the cable provider into the premises. It's like turning the pages of a book.....FANTASTIC.....but no diferent from my cable.

We have a 56.6 modem at work......enough said.

I have Ethernet in my dorm room at SIU, it's pretty fast. I used to use CompuServe 56K. My ethernet is 10MB/sec, if I am using the info thing right.

25 Adam84 : 56K modem connecting at 33. Sometime the end of this year Echostar is hooking up with Gilet? and offering 2 way sattelitte for webtv.
