Beautiful. I can only wish it would come in rear wheel drive...

Looks a bit less than the overturned bathtub look of before in the pictures, I'll reserve my final judgement when I see it in the flesh.

The previous TT was gag-inducingly ugly.

And what's the deal with a sports car that has front wheel drive. You can't drift in FWD. Front wheel drive is for people who don't know how to drive.

My neighbour (former) designed the first one. This one seems to do the design justice. Nice interior as well...love the flat bottomed steering wheel that VW/Audi are putting on the top end models these days.

I just hope that the new TT will be more than just a beautiful design and that it will be a sports car that can hold its own against the competition on the track.

It will be available with quattro, not only FWD. I agree that sports cars should have rear wheel drive or AWD though.

It looks very nice! I don't know about the front lights though.. I liked the ones on the old one better I think, but the rest of the car looks really good! I am sure though, that the old front lights wouldn't fit this car

theoritically you can, but with very very very high difficulty, and a chance of understeer!

Though it's true FWD is for people who can't drive, for a small car, you'd probably prefer an FWD. Imagine the shaft and diffs going into a small car... you'd probably struggle finding a place underneath... I mean, I drive an '03 Cooper S, I don't really mind getting pulled instead of being pushed, but for something over 150 hp, pulling with the front isn't very pleasant, especially when you hit potholes. It's still quite a fun car to drive though!

Agree with AirxLiban! Audi's Quattro is probably one of the best AWD system, and I'd luv to see it in this car!

Not only understeer, but if you push it, it goes into snap oversteer will only be stopped by a tree.

The advantage of rear-wheel drive is that you steer the front with the wheel, and the back with the power. FWD, the back end is a liability, with almost no control.

The TT Quatro is still a bit front-heavy, but still a definate improvement. I just hope they get the power up - the TT has always been a bit underpowered.

I got rid of my TT Cabrio as soon as I could (I had a three year lease). It was probably the most unreliable, uncomfortable piece of *&% that I ever drove.

I hope the new one is better.

Thank god they've decided to re-touch that old horrible bit of scrap metal, it looks alot better now although i think some more pics without the car being mostly cropped out would help!!
