This really becomes a game of a excessively good defense with a unstoppable Ronaldinho striking.

There is no goal until now but this is football on the highest level with very talented players, a team like Bayern Munich is looking like it is playing in the 2nd league compared to that.

Yea, when it comes down to it...the Anglo-Saxon barbarians stay together....why is it always a beatdown on the Western Slavs?

Bayern Munich? Havent they been relegated to the Czech 2nd division?

What the hell is AC Milan doing for God's sake, they're playing at home!

They will get plastered in Camp Nou.

It does seem that Barca has moved up a gear.
Maldini 37 - he must have played first team football for about 20 years now?

Now if only we could be watching it in the US...Can NOT believe this isn't being telecasted on ESPN anything. ESPN2 is showing the Arsenal match tomorrow though...

Think we get it on replay Thursday on Fox due to AC's telecast rights?
Prediction for the final: Barcelona v Villareal (sorry Arsenal fans)

Barcelona-Arsenal.
No chance for Villareal, the Arsenal defense is too good. Big grin

Milan lost at home, can you believe it?

They will have to work triple hard to recover, I dont think they can do it.

What was Ancelotti thinking putting Gilardino in and Cafu and Maldini out? This is a semifinals match!

I'm a Milan fan, but I have to agree with you.

Never underestimate a British club though, especially Arsenal with Henry and an Aging but brilliant Bergkamp.

MILAN 0 - BARÇA 1

The score is indeed excellent, but Barça has not made it to the final yet. They have to play at Camp Nou and anything is possible. AC Milan is also a great team so I won't celebrate until Barça qualifies (if they finally do).

As for Villareal and Arsenal...hmmmm I think it's gonna be tight. Many people would think that Arsenal will beat Villareal without much effort, but I wouldn't be so sure. Arsenal has a great forward (Henry) that can become Villareal's nightmare, but at the same time they will have to stop Villareal's Riquelme if they don't want to get in trouble, and that's not an easy task for anyone.

Will be a great match tomorrow night. Sadly, I won't be able to watch it!!  Sad

Barcelona 1-0 AC Milan Big grin

I think it's about time AC Milan start rejuvenating their old team. The average age of their defence is over 30!

Nice victory for Barca Big grin . This should easily put them in the finals, where they'll hopefully face Arsenal, which will lose the final due to a very bad game by their goalkeeper  Wink .

Oh the Arsenal, im bricking it already.

Im nervous, a bundle of them I tell you. Yet you need to keep your feet firmly on the ground, in the freaking ground in fact. We went to madrid, underdogs, and won, came to highbury, underdogs and got through. Juve came to highbury and again arsenal were to loose but that didnt happen. We went to Turin and were supposed to go out and we got through. We were supposed to concede many goals but we broke the record. We wouldnt progress far because we had an easy group yet we have.

Now were tipped to beat them, mmmmmmmm maybe they will beat us and go against the general predicionts that have happened over the last few months.

COME ON YOUR GOOOOOONERSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

If Arsenal play like they have done in the previous rounds they should go through, we need to keep a clean sheet at home though, away goals are killer. Keep the 4-5-1 formation with Henry up front alone, keep it tight in defence and we should be OK. A 0-0 or 1-0 score will do us fine, i fancy our chances in Spain next week.

Milan were ordinary today, Barca played with a nice, controlled tempo, a stunning pass from Ronaldinho and a deadly finish by Giuly did it. I don't know why anyone is suprised Milan lost, they are a old team who apart from Kaka and Shevchenko, are past their sell-by date. I expect Barca to finish the tie off at the Nou Camp next week. A Barcelona-Arsenal final will do fine thanks!

In Arsene we trust!!

SPOILER ALERT!

Good win by Arsenal today, though the second half was a bit less exciting. They could have won 3-0 today...Barcelona's in good shape out of everyone so far, can't wait til next week...

Arsenal should have scored at least two more, a bit disappointing. But I think they will also win at Villareal.
