Quoting Diamond (Reply 3): "A Million Fibers" was a takeoff on "A Million Pieces" written by James Frey.
I sure hope people caught that. I guess if you haven't paid attention to the news in the past 6 months, you wouldn't have but still........most people probably got it.

Ok, this one was definitely precanned...also, something to remember is that today is 4/20, and Matt and Trey went to CU-Boulder, where I can confirm that 4/20 is a major happening...doing a Towelie episode (w/ his pot habit) airing on the eve of 4/20 seems a little more than coincidental to me...

Wow, I was actually shocked by that episode. Right as Oprah was about to burn Towlie, I thought Towlie would say something to the effect of "Everyone is stupid for listening to Oprah, what makes her opinion so special?" and everyone would turn on Oprah and burn her, but instead, the "midge" pulls a gun out and holds everyone hostage - Matt and Trey never cease to surprise me.

My brother informed me that he believes Matt and Trey are trying to get fired. He read where they're getting burned out on the show, starting to run low on ideas, and because they don't want to quit on the fans; they'd rather piss off enough people with the show so that they get cancelled than quit. He feels that is what season 10 is going to be about - just ripping on enough people until the network has had enough and cancels them.

That might be tough, seeing as its the highest rated show on the network.
