Well, as a lot of you know my little girl, Savanna, was diagnosed with a rare type of children's lung cancer in February and I wanted to let everyone know she finished her first round of chemo 3 weeks ago and she is doing wonderful! In fact, with the exception of her substantial hair loss, you cannot even tell she is taking chemo. She is just as happy as she has always been and next week she will start her 2nd round (5 more to go). My wife has just made a website for her if anyone is interested in seeing it.
I will keep updating everyone as she progresses through her treatments and thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

aww. its scary for anyone to have to go through this let alone a parent who's kid needs chemo. hope she pulls through this and can grow up and be a normal kid. Very nice website btw.
Stay Strong GulfstreamGuy!

She's very brave, you got a fighter! Hope she can continue her bravery for the rest of her treatment.

Ok I looked at the site and cried.
It is terible when things like this happen to kids.
Sometimes all you can do is look them in the eye and ask " how much did your mom drink when she was pregnant with you?"

I almost can't believe this happened, but am glad to see things turning out to be better and I pray they only get better. I pray you and your wife and especially Savanna have the courage to be as tough as she has been so far. She'll get through it fine. [Edited 2006-04-23 03:57:32]

What a sweet little angel... Glad to hear the treatment is working fine, I'll keep her (and you) in my prayers.
Don't expect to see me around that much (if at all) -- the contact link should still work, though.
