I'm sure many guys get irritated by how long a woman takes to get ready to go out, but how long do you take? I usually take about 40 minutes in the morning from getting out of bed to getting in my car, which includes showering, shaving my head, getting dressed and packing my laptop. In a hurry I can do it in under 30. WHY do women take so long?

Then there's "I've got nothing to wear!" WTF?? We live in a 3 bedroomed house with fitted wardrobes in each bedroom, it's only the two of us and there's not enough space for my clothes!

After Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says WTF...

I have the same routine if it's going to work or going to a formal function.

Either one of the above can be accomplished by myself in 35 minutes. This includes doing my "thing" in the toilet, brushing teeth, shower, getting dressed and a light bite to eat.

No problem.

I really don't know. I am in the habit of telling my wife when we need to get out of the house......this deadline is now padded with 15 minutes.

I may to increase it by 5 minutes. Ridiculous.

Sorry to contradict your theory, but it takes me 30-35 minutes to get ready for work every day.  Silly

I usually take longer when going out on weekends, but I'm constantly checking the clock to be ready on time.

I can get out of bed, shower, shave and be out the front door in less than 15 minutes, I have my clothes that I just throw on whatever, and go to school, although if I wasn't in school and had to go to a job it would probably take a bit longer.

Wow! Questions:

1. Do you have a beard and not shave;
2. Use an outhouse;
3. Shower in the rain on the way to work;
4. Work in your PJs?
5. Or are you the Senegalese Superman?

Quite often i will shower the night before i go to work, or shower every other day...
This allows me on certain days (whilst rushing) to wake up, have a wash and be out the door inside of 20 minutes.

When i get ready to go out, i'm such a woman... it takes me like 40 minutes at least... Most of that time spent on my hair...

I wake up at 4:45 am, take 5 minutes to figure out where the hell I am, take a shower, grab some food, check and respond to email, check the baseball and hockey scores from the day before, brush teeth, get dressed, in the car by 5:30 am, at work by 5:55 am. If I cut out the computer stuff I'm usually out the door by 5:10 and stop by Dunkin' Donuts before work.

If you include the time from when my alarm goes off and I actually wake up...about 2 hours, otherwise 15-20 minutes, 30 if I haven't showered the night before.

I used to wake up at 05:30 and be at work at 05:55 at my last nursing job.

For an EMS call, I can be awake in the ambulance in three minutes. That includes driving 5 blocks to the station.  Big grin

wake up at 6:20, out the door by 6:30... shower the night before, use an electric razor on the way to work.

i would also love to know why women take so long. i've gotten into the habit of telling her i'll pick her up at 6, then show up at 6:15-6:20, and i still have to wait a good 5-10 minutes.

Now that's an interesting business proposal

It's quite simple actually... shower the night before, pick whatever I am going to wear beforehand, take care of make-up after I have arrived at the office.
