I'm sure many guys get irritated by how long a woman takes to get ready to go out, but how long do you take? I usually take about 40 minutes in the morning from getting out of bed to getting in my car, which includes showering, shaving my head, getting dressed and packing my laptop. In a hurry I can do it in under 30. WHY do women take so long?
Then there's "I've got nothing to wear!" WTF?? We live in a 3 bedroomed house with fitted wardrobes in each bedroom, it's only the two of us and there's not enough space for my clothes!
After Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says WTF...

I have the same routine if it's going to work or going to a formal function.
Either one of the above can be accomplished by myself in 35 minutes. This includes doing my "thing" in the toilet, brushing teeth, shower, getting dressed and a light bite to eat.

I can get out of bed, shower, shave and be out the front door in less than 15 minutes, I have my clothes that I just throw on whatever, and go to school, although if I wasn't in school and had to go to a job it would probably take a bit longer.

Quite often i will shower the night before i go to work, or shower every other day...
This allows me on certain days (whilst rushing) to wake up, have a wash and be out the door inside of 20 minutes.
When i get ready to go out, i'm such a woman... it takes me like 40 minutes at least... Most of that time spent on my hair...

I wake up at 4:45 am, take 5 minutes to figure out where the hell I am, take a shower, grab some food, check and respond to email, check the baseball and hockey scores from the day before, brush teeth, get dressed, in the car by 5:30 am, at work by 5:55 am. If I cut out the computer stuff I'm usually out the door by 5:10 and stop by Dunkin' Donuts before work.

If you include the time from when my alarm goes off and I actually wake up...about 2 hours, otherwise 15-20 minutes, 30 if I haven't showered the night before.

I'm up @ 6:00 and out the house by 8:00. However, I usually take 40 minutes in the shower and 30 on the net. The rest is the usual important stuff and / or fannying around.

i would also love to know why women take so long. i've gotten into the habit of telling her i'll pick her up at 6, then show up at 6:15-6:20, and i still have to wait a good 5-10 minutes.

Oh, please... not all of us take that long. My average getting-ready time is about 25 minutes or so, but it can be sped up if I'm in a hurry and I know ahead of time what I'm going to be wearing.

Quoting YooYoo (Reply 7): You should develop a "self help" book for women. Plenty of $$ to be made. Mother's day gifts, Anniversary gifts
Kudos to you.
Now that's an interesting business proposal
It's quite simple actually... shower the night before, pick whatever I am going to wear beforehand, take care of make-up after I have arrived at the office.
