So how did your team do?
My Broncos traded up to number 11 in the first round to snag QB Jay Cutler after failing to trade with Buffalo at number 8 (offered them our 15th and 2nd round pick at 37 to no avail) for QB Matt Leinert. Their draft was looking quite good when out of the blue, the Patriots swept in at 36th and stole WR Chad Jackson of Florida away from them. The Broncos had him coveted at the 15th position and had watched him drop to them...almost...and thus they traded the 37th pick away. Only picked up a TE from Western Michigan with size at pick 61 with no 3rd round picks to show. 4th round starts tomorrow and we have 3 picks in the 4th...
Think the Patriots did quite well and showed why they have the best front office in the NFL with their picks and I'm quite excited to see the Cardinals who must have been elated to see Leinert drop to them at no. 10. They picked up Leinert's teammate at G in the 2nd, nearly snagging Justice and also picking up TE Leonard Pope in the 3rd. Stellar draft for them so far.
How about your team?

Eagles drafted three linemen, 1 DT, 1 OT, and 1 DE...while Coach Reid, being an ex-lineman himself, tends to be a little biased towards them, drafting 3 shows a blatant lack of diversity...we have other needs! We're in bad need of wide receiver and return man, so I'm really hoping that tomorrow we draft my man Jeremy Bloom...he'd be a perfect fit for us...my draft would be made if we got him...
On the Buff front, the only Buffalo taken was TE Joe Klopfenstein at #46 by the Rams...glad to see him get taken there, thats actually a bit higher than I thought he'd go...I figured he'd be a late 2nd-early 3rd rounder at best...he'll do the Rams proud, Im sure, he was a great player here at CU!

The NY Giants picked (#32) Boston College DE Mathias Kiwanuka. I really don't understand this pick, we already have 2 of the best DE's in the NFL and we have other needs. Maybe the Giants think Starhan will not be around much longer?
With pick #44 the Giants selected Sinorice Moss WR from Miami (Santana Moss's brother). And with pick #96 the Giants took Gerris Wilkinson, LB from Georgia Tech.

I'm extremely happy for my Steelers, as they found a more than suitable Randle El replacement in Santonio Holmes. He has blazing speed, something we haven't had for a while (Randle El is quick, but not incredible fast). We had to give up a 3rd and 4th rounder, but we had 10 picks to begin with. Got a safety with our next pick (maybe to compete with Ryan Clark for the starting job?) and another fast wideout in the 3rd. Great Job!!
