Hi folks

As you know a thread is going on about the upcoming ZRH meet on July 29 th .

I created a logo for this event and this has led me to the idea of creating a T-shirt for the Event.
Here is the logo

http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g299/yunanniman3/zrhlogo.jpg

And here are my suggestions for the T-Shirt.

I have thought of putting the logo on the front and on the back write out the name of all the attendees. Feel free to discuss how you'd like the T-Shirt to ressemble.
I have put two suggestions. Same design but one is white and the other slight grey.
If you are interested feel free to sign up....(prices will be told later but would be around 20 Swiss francs...roughly 13 euros)

Cheers

BM

Thats really great! bigthumbsup
However, I think it would be original if the a.net Frontpage logo would be applied to the T-shirt.
Have the logo on top, then have the two pictures (they are great), then have on the bottom SUMMER MEET ZRH, JULY 29TH 2006

Maybe only the 'Airliners.net' fonts applied instead of the whole logo ?

Whatever

Yeah, at least we'de be able to recognise each other when we all arrive! Great idea, perhaps we could follow one of the english pub crawling traditions of getting every bar, or in this case person to sign the T-shirt on the back.

I am at the meet. But sorry, I find it terribly embarrassing to walk around in the same shirt as many other people, like a group of tourists. I would not wear such a thing at any time. I even consider not to participate at the meeting when everybody wears the same shirt. I am interested in aviation and not to be in a group of stupid tourists. I always avoid group travel.

No one said you were obliged to wear it during the meet . Its a souvenir you can take at the end of the meeting ! don't take it too seriously

Ok now lets put it clear. This T-shirt idea is more a souvenir than a uniform we will wear. There is no way we are doing this to make a uniform for the group but more a T-Shirt that you will take back home so you can have a souvenir of the event.

I actually never mentioned we would all have to wear it at the same time. So don't take something I didn't mention seriously(ZRH seemed very much so) .

Hey Roots, the idea is cool and it will be nice to have such a souvenir. Not far as yesterday I was saying to myself that I needed something to wear to throw my garbages away  Wink

No, seriously. Personnaly I would wear it, but the front is maybe too much for my taste, and I agree with Soren that a too much colorful t-shirt will be shit only after a few washes. I would have prefered something more simple and design, maybe some 'airliners.net' with the runways of ZRH draw (not a photo) in pale grey in the backgroud and the date marked like '29.07.06'... that's it. For the back, I'll put the names in alphabetical order (I would be the first on the list   ) and maybe a little country flag next to it. What do you think ?

Cheers,
Alejandro

That's a good suggestion ! I'll try and make out some other design and the flags next to the names is certainly a good idea. however we do agree that Patrick's name should go on first since he's the pne who organises the meet and the order all the other names will be determined upon a draw!

Something like this?

I agree that it would be nice to have something like that with "Airliners.net ZRH Meet Summer 2006" on it (or something to that effect).

And I may be coming, by the way.
