I was just wondering what is the farthest place away you have been from home? Mine is Rome, Italy. It is 9085km from my home here in Victoria. Hope this isn't a repeat topic, but I did a search. Please post in Kilometres if you can, because most people here use km.

Currently I'm 13770km away from my home (Christchurch, NZ) in Cincinnati, OH. That's what great circle mapper tells me, anyway. Would be more impressive next week, as I'm off to the UK, so would be up around 20,000kms. But oh well, 13770 is impressive enough, I suppose.
