The Telegraph is reporting that Tony Blair will step down next summer, stating that Gordon Brown will succeed him.

I'd rather vote to replace the entire party, rather than Gordon Brown just stepping in. The public are disillusioned by the entire party, not just Blair.

I certainly have no Dig in the Hunt in UK politics, but I'm satisfied that Mr. Blair has been a good friend to the US. As have all the PMs really - the US and UK are one people separated by a common language: George S. Patton, Jr.
