Yes, very much so! I loved the old show, and NextGen. But the DS9 and Voyager spinoffs were not interesting. Best Trek film: "Wrath of Khan," followed by "First Contact." By the way, with the exception of Uhura and 7of9, the regular cast women were not interesting at all.

I am a die-hard fan of the ORIGINAL series only!!!
Gotta love that campiness and the perpetual lustings of James T. Kirk!!! (William Shatner, whatta HAM!).

I loved to watch the Next Generation-my username (and alias!) are taken from my all-time favourite character, Jean-Luc Picard, always a true English Getleman! Big grin

A very close second comes "Q". Some people find his character really irritataing, I find him extremely funny & charismatic, especially as he refers to the Captain as if he was his buddy "Jean Luc", and makes himself immeditaely at home on his visits to the Enterprise.

(Yes, I know, I'm very sad).

I am pretty sure the reason why the "Q" character was never in any of the NextGen films was because he was such a scene stealer . . . and Stewart likes being the star.

Yup, though lately it's gone to h*ll. TOS was okay, TNG was great, DS9 sucked, Voyager was acceptable, and the new one is cheesy. I expected to hear porn music playing during the shower/gel scene in the premier.

I am a moderate Trek fan Big grin. I really like/liked Next Gen. DS9 and Voyager were cool too but I prefered NG. I really like the movies with Kirk, Scotty etc that took place after the original series, but way before TNG.

The new one seems ok so far, but only a few episodes have been on so far. I will have to wait and see  Smile.

Love Star Trek in all forms. Loved NG, but really came to like Voyager in the last couple seasons. Favorites were Janeway, Seven, and Chakotay. Tim Russ as Tuvok really bugged me though.

I could listen to and watch Patrick Stewart for days on end. I think he's mesmerizing on screen. Brent Spiner is also incredibly talented.

I like Star Trek too. TNG is my favourite but I also like DS9 and Voyager. I'll watch the orginal series if theres nothing better to do. I keep forgeting to watch Enterprise as I have only seen 1 1/2 episodes so far but it seams pretty good, though Capt Archer pisses me off a little.

I never could get into DS9, TNG, Enterprise, Star Trek, or any of the movies. But I went NUTS when Voyager was on! I could relate to all the charicters and the 7 year plot of the series. I was in a frenzy when they were being chased through the apiture by the Borg sphere in the last episode! And the eulogy that 7 of 9 gave for the Mars commander in the episode "One Small Step" was very moving.

Have you guys read Star Trek novels as well? They're really good reads...even if your not the type of person who does alot of reading.

Capt.Picard, your not sad at all and I agree with you on that Q is pretty damn funny. I always hear people saying they could never come to like DS9 and STV after watching TNG for 7 years. I felt the same way a few years back after they took the TNG re-runs off air and started running DS9 which I eventualy found to be just as addicting as TNG(gotta love Quark and Jadzia). I have also come to like Voyager, but I think the general absence of the Alpha and Beta quadrant species somewhat detracted from the overall experience.

My favorite characters are Q, Data, Picard, Bashir and Jadzia.

I'm currently reading Q-zone, book two of "The Q Continuum".

My favorite movies are "Insurrection" and "The Voyage Home".

I guess I am kind of obsessive compulsive but I only like the Shatner MOVIES. I didn't care for the series or any of the new stuff. Just the first 5-6 flix.

Isn't that weird???
