This is a question I've often pondered, do you suppose there are people in this country, other than kids of course, who aren't aware of the events of 9/11?

I'm sure there are people out there that don't even know what a UFO is. I am very sure there are people that haven't heard of 9/11. People that don't like socializing, people that live in cults, etc.

As for adults now, they would have be living in a cave in the US not to have heard of it. That being said, out here in western AK, in the days after the events, and the flight ban, there were people hunting and fishing in remote areas that couldnt be picked up by bushplane and did not hear about 9-11 until a few days afterwards.

They're the ones that would make great contestants on "Street Smarts" or Leno's "Jay Walking."

How the hell can someone NOT know which state Los Angeles is in? Or how many feet there are in a yard. Or think that Canada is part of the USA.

I'm sure it's possible, but not likely.

I have wondered stuff like this before...not about 9/11 per se, but about other major events.

One morning my fiance and I were driving along and there was NO ONE out on the road. The desolation was noticeable (we live in a major city) and I wondered aloud if something had happened that we didn't know about.

Has M&M deleted himself or was he/she banned? Or is it just my computer.

People that live in tribes in Africa or South America probably haven't heard of 9/11. They probably don't even know what a plane is.

If you go to the Non-Av page and click on his name, his profile comes up. Strange.

Not really. He just hasn't picked a country on the list yet. Or he picked one, then changed it to not shown/not available/whatever. Anyone is able to do that.

Of course it's possible... people with no tv, far out on the country, hillbillies, hermits, street people who don't listen to anyone but themselves, etc... most likely, there're hundreds...

Yes... they are the dumbasses that show up 15 minutes before flight time and don't know why they can't get on airplane.

I have no association with Spirit Airlines

You forgot mentally ill people (no offence to anyone). But yes to the original question, I am pretty sure that there are people out there who don't know about 9/11. Take the nothern most parts of Russia and wanderers in the deserts of Saudi Arabia, Egypt and other middle eastern countries. they don't have telly or a newspapers.

First Class passengers are my favourites. They can't get any further forward without an ATPL.
