Just felt like comparing petrol (or gas to you americans) prices around the world.

In norway it is about £1 for a litre at the moment. (NOK 11,50) I remember a few years ago when it passed the milestone of 10 NOK a few years ago. People were almost in an outrage back then over the high prices. Now I'd love to see petrol cost 10 NOK per litre...

Over to you...

$3.03 in my town, and I can find it as low as maybe $2.92 elsewhere in the city.

Just filled up yesterday at £0.939/litre. The scary thing is that the price is a bit less than a couple of weeks ago. Thats roughly $6.65 USD/US Gallon.

Put £20's worth in yesterday at £0.999p per litre. (Thats a £ all bar sod all!)

Diesel is around the £1.109 mark. And my heating oil price has nearly doubled in the 3 years I have had oil-fired central heating. Still beats the hell out of coal though! Big grin

Yesterday it was $2.69/gal in Mankato, MN. Just went down after being $2.89 earlier in the week. Hopefully it keeps dropping.

Oh, just for you Thom@s: $2.69/gal = 4.35 kr/l  Smile

Not sure on petrol, as I have a Diesel car, but paying up to £1.03 per litre on my travels, though that is for the BP Ultimate or whatever they call it.

Having said that, I am getting over 50mpg without too much trouble, so it is costing me less than the petrol version I used to have.  Smile

You guys complain when its that price. Us Aussies are paying US$4 per gallon, thats AU$5.30 per gallon or as VHVXB said AU$1.40 per litre.

But I guess that we get for living so far away from everything.

Thats about £1.60'ish a gallon. With petrol (gas) at something akin to £4.18 in UK you American chappies should count your blessings.

Oh no, do we have to yet again? Here we pay pretty well the highest prices in Europe for a litre of petrol/gallon of gasoline  Sad , even more than the British.

We do. The higher prices just mean we have to set our priorities a little different now. Do I need to make that trip down the street today versus combining a few trips tomorrow?
