Make Your Pick: Cavs Or Pistons, Spurs Or Mavs

Big game 6's tonight in both Conferences.

Take your pick? Cavs v. Pistons; Mavs v. Spurs

Gotta take my Cavs to close out the Pistons. Detroit just can't "flip the switch" right now, and get back to where they were. The crowd at the Q will be insane, and LeBron leads the Cavs to a showdown with Miami next week.

Spurs will beat the Mavs, since Jason Terry went idiotic last game, and got himself suspended. It'll go to Game 7 and the Mavs will take it then.

Mad as hell I couldn't get anyone to work for me tonight so I could try to scalp a ticket for the game tonight.

GO CAVS.

Well Falcon the Cavs better do the job tonight as the Pistons have for the last three years pulled it off when it comes down to game 7, not good odds.

Lebron has shown me a lot. I respect the guy a lot now. I don't like him, but he is a great player (I was wrong Falcon). I bet he has a 40+ point game, but Detroit wins.

I think the Mavs will pull it out at home...

GO MAVS

Spurs will win tonight and on Sunday night (or is it Monday? Damn the NBA taking 5 weeks to play 7 freeking games!). I have been picking them to win it all since the beginning of the season and I still believe they will do it. In fact, I think tonight will be a blow out - 15+ points margin of victory.

Why don't you like him? Not trying to bust your chops, but why? He's no Mo' Clarrett. He's been everything you can ask for in a young player. He's all business.

I don't think he'll have 40 points, but I think he has 30 points, around 8 boards, and about 10 assist, and 2 or 3 steals. He'll get the support from Z, Varajao, Jones and Marshall, as he has since the middle of game 2, and the Cavs win another tight one.

No predictions beyond that right now.  Big grin

Just think about the 6 freaking trophies you guys have, and stop whining.  Wink

Quite honestly, I don't like players that are hyped up. Adding to that, I don't like players who are good and know they are good. They reek of arrogance to me. Plus his mother is a peice of work (I know it's not him). I perfer the modest good players, like Arenas, Dirk, Jason Kidd etc.

Plus at UD everyone has Lebron fever and everyone who is not from OH has to hate him  Wink (Thank God I graduated!!) I couldn't take much more.

Good grief. ESPN has Bill Walton trucked in for the Mav game. Makes me wanna turn down the sound.

I would love to see Dirk go ballistic and score 50 tonight.

Please, don't let this series go back to the Alamo City! My heart can't take it.

Well myself I am torn having been born and raised in MI until recently and now being a buckeye, what to do, what to do. Though the Pistons have a real knack for pulling it off at the last minute.

Cavs had it where they wanted. 'Sheed misses two free throws-and the Pistons grab the offensive board. Can't let that happen in such a close game.

My dad thinks the Pistons will win in a route Sunday-that's the old Cleveland loser mentality. I think it'll be another down-to-the wire battle, and won't be decided, literally, till the final minute.

Such is life.

Btw, good call on the game. LeBron didn't get 45, but Detroit did eek it out.

Well it wasn't a blowout, but my Spurs forced game 7, 91-86. It's gonna be one helluva game 7 in San Antone.

I've always been a fan of the underdog, but I don't see either
the Mavs or Cavs winning a game 7 on the road.

Falcon, it's nice to see that your team finally kicked the
Cleveland Cadaver rap. My son-in-law promised me a ticket
for a Heat game in the next round. I hope I finally get a
chance to see LeBron live.

The Cavaliers are going to have The Q open today, free to the public, to watch Game 7 on the scorboard digital screens. All concessions will be open, and I'm headed down there with my son in about 45 minutes.

Go Cavs!
