Alright, I'm real bored.
--
I recently just moved back to Dallas, after being up in the Midwest for 4 years off-and-on.
I was introduced to White Castle while I was in Ohio...I come back to Dallas-the closest White Castle is Nashville, TN. I'm having with-drawling symptoms...I could go for 8 sliders, small bag of chicken rings, and Diet Mountain Dew...I'm counting down the days of when I will go back to Ohio to see some friends (late September).
Show you're love/hatred for the ultimate stoner food, ultimate laxative, ultimate hamburger food.

White Castle rocks! I didn't know them until I saw one of their restaurants in New York a few weeks ago and of course I gave it a try. I had the Jalapeno Cheeseburger along with Cheese Sticks, awesome!

Quoting Cfalk (Reply 13): I have a cast-iron stomach. Nothing makes me sick. But the one and only time I ate at White Castle I had the shits for a week.
I always hear that from people, the only time I got the shits from WC was the first time I ate it. Now I just burp up a storm for the remainder of the day.
Looks delicious................never had it that way myself.
The White Castle in Williamsburg (Brooklyn) is a very hot neighborhood spot...with the added nostalgia of it being the first "take out", all by himself, my son brought home for dinner after he got paid for his first real job (at 14)......The big bag full of those crazy square burgers was so cool. No fooling. But when he got a little older he started bringing home live lobsters (Lafayette St and Kenmore) and asparagus (Dean and DeLuca.... B'way and Prince).....he always brought home a great meal on payday..... I taught him well, I guess.....You always eat good on payday, just in case.
Artists don't necessarily get a paycheck every week.
There's nothing more beautiful than flying into the dawn.

I was at a White Castle last night here in New Jersey after late work. They are one of the few fast fooders that let you eat in after 11 pm (to maybe 12 mid-2 am, depending on the night) There is something about those 'Brillo pads' or 'shadows between a bun' or 'onion burgers' or 'belly bombers' that one can crave a need for. Their french fries to me are often better than McD's or any other fast fooder. I remember my college days stopping by there for a snack or getting with others sacks of to absorb the alcohol.

I've never tried White Castle, but everytime I watch 'Harold and Kumar go to White Castle', I get major White Castle cravings. I'd never heard of White Castle before watching the movie, but it is definitely on my 'to do' list the next time I am in New York.
Cheers,
