Hi all
First I want to say that chat programs are great. I am using both ICQ and MSN and I have met great people so far. With some of them I am talking almost daily, with some less, maybe weekly, and with others even more less. I have also met some people in reality and some friendships still last.
Anyway, something very annoying happens to me right now. I got contacted by someone who so far still has not told me her real name (I didn't ask though because I'm not even interested a bit ). It is a 23-year old girl living in Germany who is originally from Mongolia and is working as an aupair in Germany. So the conversation started with a "hello" from her and a answered with a "hello" back. So usually if you contact someone, you present yourself a bit (who you are, what you do etc.) but nothing happened. So...i was busy anyway and did not write to her for a few minutes. So she starts to ask quite rude why I do not write to her! I mean come on! It's on her to keep the conversation up! So I think she got this and then "forced" me to talk to her for about an hour. Whenever I did not answer within five seconds she ask why I would not answer her...VERY annoying! So I decided to leave the chat. Nice as I am I told her goodbye and stuff but then she got rude to me again and told me I would only leave the chat because I would not like her etc. (hell, how right she was! ). Uff, so I open the chat the next day and guess who is online there!!! I go oh nooo and switched myself to "user is currently away". She did not care about that and wrote stuff until I needed to answer. Again a forced conversation and then again I needed 20 minutes to explain her why I needed to leave (it was late and I wanted to go to bed). I open the chat this morning and there are again messages from her, where I was and why I would not be online and stuff. So this evening I get online (because I wanted to talk with some nice people there)...guess who is there!?! I say shit and wanted to leave but within five seconds she is writing to me. Then she says: "Now I am going to call you, give me your number!" Please note that she did not ASK for it. She said: I AM GOING TO CALL YOU. Damn, how lucky I was not to give her my number. So she asks me to call her (she obviously did not get that I have not the slightest interest in her). Also she told me I need to visit her (I said no and then needed to explain to her why, god damn it). I then told her that I will leave the chat (and again needed to explain her ten times why I would do so...).
So people- what advice can you give me? If I delete her on ICQ then she still writes me because she saved me. So I am afraid of going online (which is not good because I want to talk with my real friends there). Anyone with similar experiences?

The last time I have ever used a chat was maybe 10 years ago when I went into one of the AOL NASCAR chats and started making fun of them. Then one of them reported me, and I had no interest to go into chatrooms again.

Hey, just give her/him ( ) a fake phone number. Sure....it will get back to you but it'll be funny to see the person complain. ( you don't know this person is a girl just because thats what was said )

I think I will give her OYRJA's phone number.
I will delete her but since I am saved on her computer she will continue to write me (i will get the messages but will simply ignore them...now the question is how long she is going to keep the messages up).
