I've never understood that show, I've always thought it was a low-point in today's television landscape of constant low-points...

This clip just reinforces my view - too bad that the maximum fine was just $25k... idiocy like this should be sanctioned more harshly than that!

He should have been banned from flying in US airspace. It clearly shows how he knew the laws ahead of time, then refused to follow them. Kick him off, ban him for good.

The guy is an idiot - he knew what he was doing - he was trying to be funny. Never mind a fine, the guy should be incarcerated.

I couldnt agree more. Lets put the most unintelligent idiot on a show torturing and maming himself and lets make him famous.

He got picked on because he broke the law. Again the idiot is lacking a few brain cells so he probably didnt realize what he was doing in the first place.

I don't know about that. From his apparent level of intelligence (or lack thereof) I suspect that under any contract that he negotiated he might not be making much of anything at all!

He "flies every day and gets told the same thing in every country" yet he still does this crap?

Some of the things that the Jackass boys have done in the past have been funny - hiring a car and taking it stock car racing, scaring the crap out of one of their mates with a snake, sticking toy cars where they shouldn't go, etc

but lighting a cigarette when they're not supposed to, why is that funny.........?

See that was funny - it's something that some of us have considered and thought no but it might me amusing if the village idiot did it, but we all know what happens if you smoke on a plane - I'm suprised he didn't end up in jail.

Steve-o is definitely not funny when he's drunk and while I think Jackass has had things that have been hilarious, I don't see what could be funny about this clip. I heard his parents are pretty well off, therefore he has this much time to kill and do idiotic stuff, that half of the time isn't even funny.

Quoting Stirling (Reply 9):

Your right. It's the U.S. MTV generation what can you expect. The music on American MTV is bad as it can be. Ever since it basically turned into a reality show channel, its shows & personalities don't teach anything good either.
