While in another thread - More Women Wanting Men To Shave (by Tsaord May 29 2006 in Non Aviation) - I mentioned something about my ex and something we once did for a bit of fun. This brings me onto the following subject - "Forgetting Or Remembering your ex?"
Many of you may remember I went through a hellish relationship a long while ago, and I eventually told myself to forget everything and move on. I no longer hear anything from my ex - been a year now since any contact - and I think I'm pretty ok about that now, come to think of it, considering what we went through.
While it is easy to forget the bad times, I find it not so easy to forget the good times, as mentioned in the other thread. Anyone else have this effect?
So everyone, do u still speak to your ex?
Did you remain friends after you broke up, or do you now hate each other and hope never to meet again?
I'm not being nosy, just interested in your experiences....

I have also gone though pretty difficult times with my ex-girlfriend from the states.. sometimes it seems like we're together again and sometimes we're not. No matter what is going to happen, I wont ever forget her. She has a special place in my heart
Exactly, I mean how could I? Even tho we no longer talk, I doubt i'll ever completely forget everything about her, I mean we were engaged, so it was a special relationship after all - one of those that is not easy to forget about.
However, I will add, if we ever had a chance of gettng back together, I would most likely say "No", because I wouldn't want history to repeat itself, and besides, she is now married, and has a child too, so it is obvious she has moved on in life....

Damn, then you were closer to each other then we were. We talked about getting married some day (and we actually still do from time to time) but we're both still too young to get married.

Hmm I am afraid I would say yes, even though there might be a big chance for me getting hurt again
And I am 100 percent sure that I wont ever completely get over her as she is the first girlfriend that I have truly loved.
