Hi there,
I chatted with some people the other day and then the idea just came by - let's make an a.net meet in PRG. As we have already planned a czech-spotters summer meet here in PRG, there's an easy way how to make the meet international.
We're inviting all spotters and aviation fans, who want to meet new people, watch some interesting traffic (russian planes included), drink cheap and tasty beer and generally have some fun in central Europe.
The dates have been set for 29-30th of July 2006, hopefully the weather will be warm so that good spotting/photographing conditions are provided. The programme for the meeting could be as following:
meeting at the fence, spotting, evening SU tupolev included
evening and night socializing in the city
I can arrange some cheap hostel or dorm accomodation if demanded. Any ideas or recomendations are welcome. Looking fwd for your reactions, if you're interested, please contactme here or via email.

If this were the weekend of August 12-13 then I would definitely
attend. I will be in Berlin and Wien around that time period, so
Praha is just a stop along the way for me.

Well, I think I'll just set the date for the last weekend of August, which is 26-27.
BUT! All are welcome individually, since I'll (and my aviation friends) work at the apt during the summer. So if you happen to get in PRG and are interested in meeting someone from the country you're visiting who can give you good hints, don't hesitate to contact me, I like meeting aviation freaks

Travelling options - you can always come to Dresden if it is easier for you and we can ride together to Prague. It is only 146 Km away. Catch is, you need also a Schengen Visa for Germany. If you want to stay in Prague, there are hundreds of hotels in every price range - I can recommend you a few if you want.
I will be looking forward to meeting you in Prague!

not only cheap hostels are here, you can also accomodate yourself at some college dormitory, I think this is the cheapest accomodation available. I can provide some info later on.

29 Aleksandar: It is impossible, I'm afraid. Then I would need Schenghen visa, someone to guarantee for me (like for the common criminal ) and so on....

44 BMIFlyer: Me? Scared? By that group of comments? Not a chance Besides, I thought night life and cheap girls were your kinda thing? Lee
45 Aleksandar: Nah, a special gentleman like myself deserves a very special lady to match me, so all the cheap ladies are yours, my friend. So, have fun with them i
46 BMIFlyer: As Do I Sorry, I don't do cheap ladies.... ....or back streets for that matter Lee
47 Aleksandar: Is PRG meet still on? You have all been silent, so just wondering.
