Anyone going to any of these or Download? I got my ticket for Glasgow today Obviously they're not the same band as before, but will still be great to hear all the classic songs, some of the new stuff sounds good too.

I booked my ticket for the Manchester gig on Friday too. I know it’s not the same as seeing the original line-up live but you still have the one and only Axl Rose! Really looking forward to it I must say, they have always been one of my favourite bands.
Should be a great show!Â
Download is partly televised isn't it? I would like to have a preview of them before I see them live! Â

Quoting Daleaholic (Reply 2): I might try and get tickets for the Manchester show. I Imagine it would be a good gig!
It should be! I can't imagine tickets lasting long though just quickly browsing through Ticketmaster. A lot of the good seats have already gone it seems.

They'll be playing Roskilde before going off to the UK, so I'll be happy to provide you guys with a sort of review Should be interesting to see how they compared to Velvet Revolver, who also played a couple of GnR tracks when they played Roskilde last year.

I missed out last year seeing Velvet Revolver live unfortunately, I don't think they are touring this year but I could be wrong.
What I'm especially looking forward to is seeing if the new musicians can pull of the "old" GN'R songs well.

I saw VR, didn't think much of them. Although they seemed to love Glasgow as they returned for a one-off gig in the Summer.
Really looking forward to Paradise City, Welcome To The Jungle, Sweet Child O' Mine, Out Tae Get Me, My Michelle......too many =)
♫Better from Chinse Democracy sounds good too.
