E4 cut back on that this year and they block out any interesting conversations and say that there was swearing involved. It finishes in mid August and lasts a long 13 weeks.

From what I see the reason why they cut out the dialogue isn't due to swearing or brand names but because they are talking about things which would create a true or alternative storyline.
BB is about entertainment. You don't want reality getting in the way of that.
