Forever Eire! I was there last winter and see why, the place, pure air and of course the wonderful CIVILIZED people. Anything's better than this riff-raff whitetrash infested sh*thole called Virgina Beach.

Yes, I've heard about this. Switzerland was on top for the longest time, but were ousted from that spot (IIRC) last year thanks to Ireland's booming economy.
Better to be nouveau than never to have been riche at all.

Also, when I was in Ireland, I was pretty amazed at the number of extremely attractive women I came in contact with; not just in dublin, but pretty much everywhere i went (Dublin, Westport, Co. Donegal).

I live in Northern Ireland. Ireland rocks. We go for holidays in Donegal every year and never get bored (all we ever do is go fishing, enjoy the great weather ,and eat scampi and chips, yum).
Ive always wanted to live in Ireland at Christmas time and have it snow on Christmas morning....just like that great Guinness advert shown at Christmas time!!
Also I compete in swimming galas in Ireland aswell and all irish swimmers rock!
So i guess Ireland would be a great place to live!
Big up to Ireland

Quoting Slider (Reply 14): Learn what? You're the richest country on earth and the Western powers are paper tigers about to collapse, right?
Don't let it get you down, Zen. I'm sure they just didn't hear the news. You need to take your show on the road.
The main argument in the other threads has been that he is showing off about his country. Here, he is congratulating Ireland on a job well done and admiting that his country could learn something from it. Even though you mean this as a joke (I hope!), why would you want to start something?

Quoting Myt332 (Reply 18): To be sure, I'd rather be French or Pakistani than be Irish!
You don't have to be Irish to live here, Myt332!
Hmmmmmmmm . . . bit of a loaded statement there. Are you implying there is something unsavoury about the French or Pakistanis?
