After years of browbeating, Mr. Cialini has finally relented and will be accompanying us to see the USL 1st Division Rochester Rhinos thake on the woeful Portland Timbers at Pae Tec Park. I'm confident he'll enjoy the beer, err.. game.

So, all the Euros who come down on KROC for his constant soccer bashing, take heart. At least the boy is willing to give it a chance before he comes back to the forum and continues to relentlessly crucify the beautiful game.

Of course, a full report and pics will follow.

I'll also be outfitted with my military issued flak vest, kevlar helmet, and a home made shank - just in case.

No no, the gear I listed is just so I can get to the Stadium, seeing as its in one of the worst parts of town. I'll break out the semi-automatic assault rifles for the game itself.

I think the more important question is will KROC cope with the immense boredom and and obnoxious LHMark trying to pimp Soccer all night long.  Wink

Bring a portable dvd player so you can keep entertained between the first and last five minutes of either half.

And make sure to bring cab money because I don't see either of you in any condition to drive home after 90 plus minutes of drinking beer in the stands watching whatever porno you put in the dvd....  Wink

Slow down. I'm attending a Soccer Game so Mark can stop bothering me about going for one. Also for the review I will put forth that will most likely send the Euro's and Soccer Fans into a crazed tailspin. I'll do it once, so I don't have to hear how "closed minded" I am.  Wink

PS - I first place back!  Wink

Sure, Stubbies Pub @5pm. Plenty of college girls to enjoy the final hours of the universe with before KROC entering a soccer stadium causes the universe to collapse.

Mark, you will not enjoy the game with him by your side. His constant bitching will make you riot.  Wink

Mike, at least a soccer game is only 2/3 the total time of a baseball game. Kudos for at least going. Drink many beers.

The thing is, with baseball, the game is actually enjoyable. There is scoring. Oh, and nobody flops around on the ground grab bing their hammy or run around like a douche bag for 5 minute after scoring a rare goal.
