This happened to me not too long ago. To sum it up, there are alot of "manly" guys where I work and there's a rumor that I'm gay (because I don't hunt, wear camouflage, eat meat in large quantities, talk about "getting laid"; you know-"manly things". Also, I'm not knocking gay people, a person's sexual orientation is irrelevant to me - for the record). One day, in the plant, some of them were talking amongst themselves and I heard the comment "He's looking at that guys butt". About ten years ago, I would've gotten angry and there would've been a confrontation, now, I think it's funny, lol .
It's a big soap opera where I work and everyone talks about everyone else. Everyone, I think, knows it. I also get along with everyone there. I simply got a kick out of what was said . I have other examples (concerning myself) but will talk about it later.
I think it's funny when others are talking about me and they have no idea that I'm in "the other room"

Quoting AeroWesty (Reply 1): That's when you say, "pick up that nasty habit from the last Cher concert you boys went to?"
Quoting Legoguy (Reply 2): One way to kill all rumors....get a girl friend
I already have one.
Quoting Legoguy (Reply 2): When I was young I used to be abit skinny and would always hear people talking about it but since then Ive beefed up since then. Its more muscle now
I think you guys are missing the point. What I was getting at was being in the "other room" when being talked about.
Oh Well, never mind; sorry to take up space here. I'll have the post deleted
