Returned from Colorado just over a week ago and thought I'd share some pictures. There are a decent amount on here, but tried to keep it to the ones that were at least semi-ok.

Colorado is a little piece of heaven to me, just wanted to share some of it with y'all.

Dad and stepmom. Probably look similar to that in about 30 years.

My brother deciding to chill in Waterdog Lake near Monarch Pass, elevation 11,500 feet. It was cold snow runoff. Yes, he is...interesting.

Waterdog Lake again with the Continental Divide mountains in the background.

Another view of Waterdog Lake.

Sunset over the Sangre de Cristos. In this pic, although not clearly visible are (from left to right): Mount Shavano, Mount Tabeguache, Mount Antero, Mount Princeton, and Mount Yale, all of which are over 14,000 feet. Wonderful sight. Was hoping for more colors, but the orange worked out alright.

Anyway, these are a few of them. Hope y'all enjoy. If it takes up too much bandwidth or y'all don't like them, feel free to do whatever with the thread. Take care.

In case anyone was wondering, equipment used was a fully manual Olympus OM-2000. Used a 24mm lens for most of the Waterdog Lake shots and the sunset shot, 50mm for the flower shots and shots of people, 200mm with a 2x extender for the far away mountain pictures.

Stunning beauty... I want to go! You simply don't get vast empty areas like that in (western) Europe.
