Who flies this route, how long does it take, and what equipment is used?

There are no Cape Town-SYD flights. They do have flights from Perth-JBG. This flight takes 11-12 hours (I think) and is operated with 744 or 743 aircraft by SAA and Qantas. Oh, and the flights originate in Sydney, but they always stop in Perth before going on to South Africa.

SAA also uses the 747SP sometimes!
