In my hometown nonetheless.

We don't get to many international flights (mostly Bahamas) so when a plane comes from some other country the custom guys must go nuts.

Doctors give out samples of all sorts of drugs. They rarely have labels like pharmacy meds do. Viagra is one of the most popular ones given out. I wonder if that's the case.

If the reports are true then this has to be a violation of his plea agreement. Carrying a prescription in another persons name (No matter what the reason) is illegal, and will land him back in court.

It was prescribed to his doctor for "privacy reasons", so it wasn't a sample.

Why do I have the feeling that if it were Michael Moore in this story, you wouldn't say such a thing?

Nice excuse. Roy U da man!

And the neo-right deflects it over the bar once again. Nice parry. Here's one liberal who thinks Michael Moore should go bury himself in a pile of pig-droppings. I'm all about truth, and it seems all too scare these days.

Flame me if you must, but it's understandable - why would a polarizing public figure wish to advertise that he can't get a hard-on, knowing that his name on a pharmaceutical label for Viagra would hit the news?

LOL! Wow, some folks will never call a spade a spade. Look, the guy was on probation, right? He's working as hard as he can to be the world's ultimate hypocrite. He deserves to have the book thrown at him...hard. The guy is the just shy of the scum of the earth and yet he spews hatred toward everyone who doesn't buy into his conservative BS. I hope he lives to regret this.

As far as I know, there is no privacy exemption to the requirements that prescription drugs must be in the name of the actual person prescribed to. I have no respect for this many political views and the way he expresses them. He is in the same stinking pig mud pool as Ann Coulter, and other big mouth extremists on the conservative side.

Have the hots for Michael Moore with a stiffie, do you?

In any case, luv, the day Michael Moore gets cuffed for drug possession (Viagra, cocaine, Vicodin or otherwise), bring up the topic then and we'll discuss it.

We're talking about the Limberger here. Take your Michael Moore wet dreams elsewhere.

No, it's not understandable. Regardless of the excuse, a physician who prescribes a medicaiton in his own name for ANY patient has questionable ethics (and questionable sanity, as well). To do so for a patient with a well-known substance abuse problem is extraordinarily stupid. The physician who accommodated Rush's Viagra request should be investigated by his state licensing board. Viagra in and of itself is not a controlled drug, but as a 'recreational' drug may be specifically forbidden by whatever program Rush has been in for his narcotic addiction. I'd be willing to bet "privacy" had nothing to do with this prescription, and that it was just another one of Rush's manipulative drug seeking maneuvers to try to outsmart the restrictions on his access to legal drugs.

I'm not dumb. I just have a command of thoroughly useless information.

But what's wrong with taking Viagra?
Even Bob Dole takes the stuff.

And in any case, how would the general public know? One's medical records are strictly private (unless those records implicate some criminality), and if a pharmacy disclosed those records to the tabloids, Rush could have sued them to kingdom come on a variety of counts.

Now the big idiot's been shown to be exactly what he is. A big idiot.
