Siesta at my work as you may notice...
So, it appears that cleaning personnel working on offshore installations in Norway get paid just a little more than those on dry land.
The average cleaner working offshore earned about £50 000 last year. (And we are talking about washing floors, dusting shelves, and putting new toilet paper in place.)
Worth considering for the unemployed, eh?

I´m not unemployed but I would defentily sign up for that kind of job if it was possible! Do you have a link that they are searching for cleaners or is just something you heard on the radio? I think this kind of work is diffucuilt to get,but a lot of Swedes work on the oil rigs in Norway cleaners chefs etc. Sign me up!

A good idea would be a Carola concert on a Norwegian oil rig

I still don't understand what you have against her. Beautiful woman, great singer, fantastic songs.

But I would not mind being out on a Norwegian oil rig with Lena Philipsson

yeah I heard about these jobs.
How about that:
I met a sweedish minesweeper who works in lebanon.
He earns over 10 000 $ / month. I think he said like 20 000 but I dont remember very well (too much beer?). It's over 10 000 for sure.
And it's not like living on an oil rig... he spends his free time in beirut...
Only problem... his job is a bit... uh... dangerous.

Doona pretty much said it. She's "too religious" and her view on homosexuals seems stupid... (Doesn't offend me personally as I don't swing that way, but it is a foolish thing for her to say.) Plus I think her music in general sucks.
Quoting Doona (Reply 11): Holy cow, what is the Swedish Chef doing in a "Save the Children"-ad?
Well spotted. Dunno the background to that story, but maybe he's feeding the children?

Not knowing who she is, and simply based on the picture of her... neither would I.
