50 out of 51 Iraq War veterans running for office as Democrats.

Being at the forefront of a needless, immoral War will do that to you. If only these chickenhawks were made to serve.

Or their kids. Patriotism is one thing, but active duty? Good lord, a person could get *shot!*

That's why you send others to do your dirty work.

Trust me, these people are a minority in the military world. The overwhelming majority of soldiers support the President and their mission. I have lived with these people for the past 17 years; I know what they feel and what they believe.

?????????????

Among the Democratic vet candidates, 10 have served in either Afghanistan or the current Iraq war, or both

and at the bottom of the page:

[ Editor's note: The original subhead gave the wrong number of Iraq veterans running for the US House.]

Want to try again?

No I'm fine with it. You've stuck out again. The "10" refer to House candidates only. The Editors note merely point out at one time the article had a flaw at one time, since corrected. The one I posted was correct.

50 out of 51 total candidates. 10 out of 11 House candidates.

The article does not state that 50 out of 51 are Iraq war veterans. It says 50 men and a few women, all military vets. As to Iraq vets it says:

Well I was wrong Gilligan. Looks like it was "veterans" as rather than "iraq veterans" ....LOL

What's your point? We now have 40 Dem Veterans, 10 Iraq/Afghan Dem Veterans, and one single Iraq GOP veteran.

Right your profile shows an age range of 16-20. You must have been the smartest and most aware infant ever.

What ever, maybe a few will get elected and offer new ideas for all of America. Isn't it interesting to note that the good Republcian Senator from South Carolina Col. Lindsey Graham, (the only active military man in the Senate) has been one of the biggest critic of the Bush administration policies at Guantanamo.

Just want the record straight. There are enough people here that throw out bs by the 50lb bag and I know you are not one of those.
