I will be in Manchester on September 1, 2006, thru September 4 and in London on September 6 until September 12. I was wondering since I'll be in MAN during that weekend on Sept. 2 and 3, perhaps we should have a cool get-together. I know there have been numerous MAN meets that Kazoo usually starts and that I've never gotten to attend to meet the locals and now this is my chance. I also know there is a thread called MAN 2007 but that's not until next year, so I decided to start one sooner. SO, if Kazzie or BMIFlyer reads this, perhaps you could attend that weekend since you guys seems to be the popular ones on this site and could get 20,000 people to come easily haha.

After Manchester, I will be flying back to JFK on Delta and then hopping a Virgin flight from Wash-Dulles to London the next day where I'll be for a few days. If anyone in London or Manchester wants to get together, email me or respond. I'll have my contact list open via my profile. On Sept. 8-10, I still probably will be able to make it to the Stockholm, Sweden meet and love to tour that part of the country but my options are also available since it's still about 2 months from now.

If anyone needs hotel accommodations, let me know and I'll see what I can do since I'll most likely be staying at the Crowne Royal Plaza at Manchester and in London.

So, let's get rolling.

Kevin

Please correct me if i'm wrong, but would it not be easier to jump on a plane from Manchester to London?

They do exist you know.  Wink

Yes it would. But some people love flying so much, that they'll want to do JFK-MAN-JFK, and then hop on another flight to LHR the next day.  Smile

And some people have far too much time and money on their hands!!! Big grin

I'll keep the MAN date in mind, can't guarantee anything though.

I will be thru MAN between the 31st of Aug and 3rd of Sept, visiting my daughter and grand-daughter in Leeds for a few days before heading to the States, and back to MAN around the 11th of Sept.

I would certainly be game for a "quickie" meet during that time period...

No biggie if anyone doesn't want to attend. I know by facts, that the AVP in MAN can get really crowded, so most likely 80% of the people there are from a.net.  Smile

Go when it is raining! That brings in the photographers!

Probably not, as there are far better spotting places down Southside at MAN.

Same for me...
