Well, I went today and was overly impressed but with a few disappointments - large crowds, lots of aircraft, great weather, great flying.
The disappointments were the B1-B and B-52 - both took off and flew off into the distance for the next half hour while other aircraft went on to display, then both reappeared for one flypast, and off into the distance again. Next time we see them, they both land without so much as a flypast - very disappointing.
The commentators seemed lost at times, the shows published display itinery was worthless as it was made up on the spot - the Canberra was supposed to fly in the last 60 minute block of the day, it infact opened the show. There were numerous other changes as well.
The MiG-29M was superb, the only one in existance and the pilot put it through some fantastic manouevers with its thrust vectoring - you have to see it to believe it.
The Typhoon was a treat, always puts on a good display.
The Osprey had a good display, interesting aircraft and good to see it in the air.
Lots and lots of aerobatics teams, got bored very quickly watching people throw planes built specifically for aerobatics around - to much of the same.

What is the osprey display like? Any nice old WW2 prop planes up flying?
Can you say 'Beer Can' without sounding like a Jamaican saying 'Bacon'?
