OMG OMG OMG I can't believe what happened.
So this morning, I was on my way to work. I always use that little shortcut to get to my office, never had a problem so far. BTW, I own a company that does testing of composite structures for Boeing; we're the ones who discovered those bubbles on the 787.*
Anyway, once I'm almost through the entire alley I hear that strange noise. I slow down, and there it is again... it totally freaks me out. I turn around slowly and see a really big shadow moving in my direction really fast. I always carry one of my firearms, today the Browning Centerfire Hi-Power Mark III*, and I train at the firing range every week so my aim is pretty good.
Well, that shadow being the definition of a threat, I pull immediately and fire the entire load of bullets into the f***er... just to be safe. After things have settled and the small stupid-ass Cypriot officer has arrested me, I realise what the fuss is all about. I killed a friend of his! OMG!!!
* No, you need not wonder why I'm posting these details in a situation full of emotional stress.
PS, you don't want to image-google "donut".

You bastard! You'll hang if there's any justice in this world!
My sincerest condolences go out to the deceased's family. I will take them in and give them shelter if needed.

Well, I hope you didn't perforate the coffee cup as well. If no then you might avoid the needle. But paying for college for his Munchkins will remind you of this horrible crime for the rest of your life.

Shit... things are really going bad now! A family member of the victim had a heart attack after hearing the news, they took him to the
immediately but it was too late... so now they've accused me of Negligence of Icing and False Application of a Bite to a Pastry as well. And I can do bugger all about it.

Does it make me some sort of savage to admit this thread is making me hungry?
