A truly staggering number - I knew it was a lot, but this many in just over half a year? Not only that, but approximately 11,000 in May and June alone.
This is NOT a political discussion, I am just curious about if anyone else is truly shocked about the sheer number of people killed. God bless the Iraqi civilians, I hope these incredibly numbers start to reduce, however, it appears to be continuing upwards.

These days, there's not much left to shock me.
On second thought, I would be shocked if Hamas, Hezbollah, al-Qaeda and then various Middle Eastern governments suddenly declared to disarm and head for less war. That would nix my view of the world.
