My Fiance and I are moving into a new apartment and I remember a few years back that Lufthansa was selling some of their old seats. The lady is being nice to me and allowing me to have one for one of the rooms. Does anyone know if they are still selling them or if anyone else?

Go to Bournemouth (don't know how to spell it properly - a city in southern England where European Aviation is based)
There they have a whole mountain of old 742 seats. I was there last weekend and took some souveneirs myself. Talk with the people there and offer them a couple of pounds!

Quoting JFK69 (Thread starter): I remember a few years back that Lufthansa was selling some of their old seats.
I saw that too...I remember they were selling them in rows of 4 or 2.
My dream was to get about 7 rows of seats and find the walls of a plane cabin and get overhead bins and everything. I wanted to have ptv's too and I wanted to have flat screen tv's outside the windows showing clouds and stuff going by so it would look like it was flying.

I had a pair of United Airline seats I found at a thrift store for only $15.
The funny part was getting them home.
I strapped them to the top of my Lincoln and drove across town to my house. The tourist here in San Francisco thought I was an attraction and started taking pictures when I was at red lights.
