honestly it wasnt that painful, it was a full 18 hours before I went to the doctors cause I thought I just had a little bruising, I was walking around (yes on 2 broken legs) for a little while then i laid down had a nap woke up scouted around, relised i had no leg control this whole time my parents were pretty upset so i decided to goto the hospital, dad (dads a Dr as well) took me in they took xrays of my knees right foot and elbow the knees were the only bones broken so then dad drove me over to st andrews where the worlds #1 orthopedic surgon surgs.
He stuck a fucken huge needle in my knee and removed about 100ml of fluid, we got some cat scans, they didnt look good, he consultaed with 2 other highly regarded bone drs at royal brisbane (where dad worked)
I went home for 4 days to rest came back on friday for the op, the right leg took 6.5 hours (this is literally a 30minute job, i just had a really good job done on it)
The most painful time was about now when my knees had been ripped apart, now I was accepting the pain killers (i dont like to take drugs at all)
I spent a week on my back then back up and to work, previously I was hevily into martial arts and mtn bike racing so i was pretty fit, ive never been able to get anywhere near what I was but yeh, its mostly physologial.
I have full movment of my legs which is very unusual, one thing I practised was streches.

When I was 6 weeks old I had pyloric stenosis (sp?)..when the sphincter muscle at the bottom of your stomach contracts and won't open...It causes projectile vomiting (not a nice mental picture) and other such nasty things. Apparently the operation worked out fine, though, because I have absolutely no digestive problems now. I havn't had any medical problems since.

When I was 4 years old I had my appendicitis removed. The thing is that I almost died because my mother was away and my dad thought that it was just a virus.

I had a cholesystecomy (removal of gallbladder) at age 30. I was very unlikely candidate. According to doctor, young males of ideal weigh with no family history of gallstones, rarely get gallstones. The operation was a snap.

Appendix
In grown toes nails removed (yes, its surgery)
Also when I wasin 5th grade, I dropped a hot, just out of the oven Blueberry pie all over my legs. I had shorts on. I got huge blisters on my legs. I had to goto the hospital numerous times so they could peel away the old skin. I missed the all star baseball game and also missed Jaws 3D the first day in theateres because of this.
