Already a potentially season-ending injury in a training camp, and it came to a team that has always suffered such injuries, and can ill-afford to lose a player like this.

That seems to be the luck of the Browns. And with his injury-if season-ending, probably goes any chance of a .500 season. This guy was just too valuable to lose.

Damn

It sounds bad, from the description in the ESPN story, but it might not turn out to be as serious as feared.

It's the Browns, what did you expect?  Wink

I'm just waiting for the Jets first major injury or disaster.

Loveable losers. Perhaps you can pay Art Modell a midnight visit with a baseball bat for moving the original Browns to Baltimore.

Well, reading on http://www.cleveland.com, it seems Bentley is out for the year, with a torn patella tendon.

The "Colavito Curse" seems to have migrated to the Browns now. Unbelievable.

Just what is it with the Browns, apparently they want to get the full use of their Blue Cross policy.

Cubs I'll agree with you but in case you missed the memo (and I'm sure you did but are just playing coy) we won the NCAA basketball title this year...and we're considered a football school. In the days of old our motto was "wait till next year" but not anymore. Gators rule!

I can't tell how the season is going to go. Rothlessburger and his motorcycle made the off season fun, along with pick ups at the end of last year. But why can't the Browns stay healthy for a little bit? Urg!!!!!!

I can see a 500. season, but that is it. It should be fun. I actally am looking forward to NCAA Football the most, with both USC and Texas taking big losses. I don't know what is gonna happen.

Apparently not valuable enough to Tom Benson or Mickey Loomis (Saints owner and GM) to let go to free agency.....and look what's left to block up front for Brees/Bush/McAlister...

The University of Florida is hardly considered a loveable loser type school...In football or basketball...or in any sport for that matter.
