Former German foreign secretary,Joschka Fischer ,will travel to Tehran on Monday to meet with officials.
The travel is co-ordinated with Mr. Steinmeier (Germany's actual Foreign Secretary ) but not labelled an "official visit".During the meetings he will discuss with members of the Strategic Planning Committee and meet with Iran's Foreign Secretary,Mr.Manuchehr Mottaki.Among the subjects on the list are Lebanon and Hezbollah support,Nuclear program and Iran's relation with Europe.
Germany enjoys a traditionally good relation with Tehran and is perceived as excellent mediator country.
