Tallinn, Estonia: Around 15 EEK per litre, or (if I calculated right) around $4.60-$4.70/gallon. Probably one of the cheapest in the EU. I really can't see how Americans have the nerve to call their fuel 'expensive'  Smile

Right now, it's at 118.9 cents (CDN) per liter, minus a 3.5 cent discount at the pump, so it's at 115.4 cents (CDN) per liter.

2.87/gallon at the QT in Gilbert, AZ. About 50 cents a gallon cheaper than it was in Chicago last week.

Here in the mid-cities area of the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex, I've seen regular unleaded range from $2.899 at a Racetrack to $3.099 at a Citgo, all within one mile of one another.

I agree, relative to other prices, US gasoline is cheap. However, the US (and many others) have seen the near tripling of gasoline prices in the last three years.

It may not be altitude, but the rate of ascent! Big grin

Maybe Americans will buy cars now that don´t need so much gas.

I paid $3.74 per gallon of regular unleaded at Chevron this morning.

I would complain, but then having paid way more than that in England for a number of years, I still regard it as cheap motoring.

they must have a CA or OC penalty. I have no clue why you pay so much more. Back in 2002? (not for certain the exact year) I bought at Chevron in SF and paid $2.29 and a week later I'm in Fairbanks AK and it's $1.61. I like to purchase Chevron but they are so freaking high even here in Texas.

Yeah, I think there is something added on in CA, to do with state-specific emission controls or something. Not sure exactly what it is, but I do notice whenever I hire a car out of state that gas is much cheaper elsewhere.

Here in Plymouth its £0.95 per litre in the city near to the docks where it arrives by ship, but its £1.12 up on the moors, just 15 miles away.

We had to do a 450 mile round trip journey up to the midlands this week, and it used over £40 in fuel, thats in a 1.3 fiesta on the motorways, not taking it above about 85mph.
