Reference this picture that MSYTristar took on his roadie to see Ryan Adams in St. Louis, a quick question:

When I visited St. Louis in 1990, I stayed in a hotel directly north and across the street from the old Busch Stadium. At the time, I believe it was the Marriott. In looking at this picture (middle right edge of photo), and in checking a St. Louis website, it appears that Marriott sold the hotel. Question is: which hotel is it now?

I believe its a Hilton now. Hilton at the Ballpark is the name, 1 So. Broadway, St. Louis. By the way nice ballpark..

The Hotel directly east of the ball park is nice too. It is the Millennium, formerly the Regal Riverfront, and a Stouffers before that. I think it is cool because it is round.

When was this photo taken? When I stayed in the Millennium last December the stadium wasn't completed. IIRC they said it was opening April this year?

Great city by the way... brilliant nite-life!

It's the Hilton Pavilion at the Ballpark.

It's a pretty decent property. Southwest used to overnight there before they moved their crews out to a hotel by the airport.

if assumptions could fly, airliners.net would be the world's busiest airport

Just west of the ballpark, you will see a red brick building with white windows and a smaller red brick building - that is the Westin St. Louis. I always stay there - cool hotel. In fact, I'll be there in three weeks for work and a Cards game!!

If I had that same room I had back in 1990, I'd have a pretty incredible view of a ballgame.....

I watched a game there in July. What a great time. Very nice stadium, not a bad seat anywhere, that I could see. I was at a sellout game and wow, the vendors were ready, plenty of beer and hot dogs.
