My first flight on a 747 (a long dream of mine) was on a UA 747-400 going from the US to HKG. But I just realized that I opened my membership 8 months in advance of that date. So I guess I just liked UA and the 747.

Alpha Floor is a mode of the protection envelope of the Airbus aircrafts.
According to my PSS A330/340 systems manuals: To aid recovering from low speed / high angle of attack conditions, Alpha Floor autothrust mode is provided. Alpha floor automatically activates below a predetermined airspeed, if above 100 feet radio altitude, and commands TOGA thrust.
Why did I choose this username is complete mistery... maybe because it starts with the two first letters of my first name...

Just as it says.
I spent four years at Lajes Field, Azores. I visited all nine islands, climbed Pico, boated and flew all around the islands many times, hiked miles and miles all around, and in general just had the time of my life being there! I totally loved it, and I still remmeber it as one of the best times of my life.
Those who want to do something will find a way; those who don't will find an excuse.

Delta....Hmmmm, I'm not sure what this one means. Oh yeah, Air Jethro.
Gator....Alumnus of the University of Florida.
Put them together and you have...DeltaGator.
Quoting Zone1 (Reply 20): I like Delta Air Lines. I've never flown in First and am not Medallion, but one day I hope to board in Zone 1 someday.
Perhaps one day it will come true. As someone who is Zone 1 almost every week I do have to tell you aren't exactly missing a whole lot up there. It's not like we have naked chicks and filet mignon up there behind that semi-transparent curtain.
