Samuel M. Jackson pimping it on "The Daily Show" last night was a riot.
I admit I am surprised they didn't release this straight to video. With the Internet buzz, every video store in America would have needed 10 copies on the shelf to meet demand and if the studio priced it as a rental ($100 per copy), that would have been billions.
I imagine it won't last a week in the theatres, and the reviews will be so bad even the folks who want to see it will be disuaded if they don't go opening night.

As many already know, many a.netters are in the middle of filming:
"Gkirk on a Plane" - "A deadly mix of a 2tonne pallet of Tennant's Lager and an unmanned aircraft. Watch as the TERROR is unleashed...."

Quoting STLGph (Reply 12): At what part during the movie Caddyshack was there anything to do with a Caddyshack?
Actually, the main plot of that movie (if you want to claim there was one) was centered around Danny Noonan, a caddy who worked at the caddyshack of Bushwood CC. The famous fight scene with Danny and DeNunzio where Danny's little brother interfered, leading to Bill Murray's brother coming in and stopping the fight. The caddyshack, where Danny and his g/f snuck behind to have sex - that caddyshack.
