Soooo on saturday August 19, 2006 i'm FINALLY going to an amusement park. I'm seriously going through withdrawal because roller coasters are definitely some of my favorite things in the world and I haven't been on one in over a year.

I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited, I really cannot hold it in almost because the intensity is just too great. You know that feeling you get when you're about to fly because you can't wait (I don't get that feeling by the way), that's what I have now for roller coasters!

So who likes the front better than the back??? I don't understand that personally because you get sooo much lift in the back and it's sooo much more exciting on a physical level (I can see the front being exciting on a personal level).

I PREFER to sit from the half way point to the back of the train (if there is that), but I don't mind sitting closer, but if it's a long wait in line, I MUST get in a decent spot. Besides, waiting for the front takes too long because for some reason it's really popular, haha.

Who doesn't care where they sit on a roller coaster?

Who doesn't even like roller coaster????? You have issues if you don't, lol, jk jk jk

But yeah, I'm really excited and I'm anxious to hear what you guys think. There are a few really great roller coasters that I am sooo pumped to get on. For real for real. It's basically Six Flags just cheaper and closer (I get really restless waiting in the car on the drive to an amusement park. I usually get really jittery while approaching, and I HATE it when people MUST take restroom breaks on the way there or WHILE WE'RE IN THE PARK ABOUT TO GO TO THE NEXT AWESOME RIDE!!!!!)

Yeah, I have a lot of pet peeves about theme parks.

I know I'm probably too old to still like going to amusement parks because everyone thinks it's childish, lol, but I'M SO EXCITED!!!!

I don't as long as it's not the very front. I've only been on one loopy roller coaster. And that's the one at the Edmonton mall. I almost blacked out. Though it was more of a purple......

16-20 years old, what's wrong with that?

Can I have your life? Having pet peeves about amusement parks would be nice to have as a worry. Alas, I have dogs, bills, and dirty dishes to worry about instead.

Have fun though. I wish I could go to an amusement park for a day. If the little lady wasn't pregnant I'd drag her butt down to Six Flags this weekend.

Roller Coaster are an amazing thing. hah.

I've worked around them for over 3 years, and love every minute of it.. I guess it's the thrill of knowing I'm helping to create great memories for over a million people every year..

hells yay! Love Magnum (still better then mullineum), and top thrill is always worth the wait. Can't beat Wicked Twister, Maxair is the best non-coaster, and Snake River Falls is the best water ride.

D@mn I love that place

Well I believe it all is coming to an end. Oh well, I guess we are gonna pretend.

Have you tried this years new ride? Sky Hawk? Pretty cool as well. I have to say mullineum is my favorite, then top thrill (gotta love that 120mph/240kmh), magnum is cool in its own right.

Guess I was lucky, only 20 min. Say what new ride are they building for next year. Looks like some type of coaster.

I'm going to Dorney Park.

Cedar Point is definitely the 2nd best park in the world! I went once when I was little and wasn't tall enough to ride anything (I rode Magnum though).

My favorite park is Kennywood actually. It's small and there are great rides and they're all right next to each other. You're off one and right on the next. No more than a 5 minute walk.

I'm sooo excited to go to Dorney today!!! I've never been before and the roller coasters look pretty good. I check out www.rcdb.com all the time for pics. They Talon, Hydra the Revenge, and Steel Force for big high thrill roller coasters (two Bolliger & Mabillard coasters in one park. They are my favorite manufacturers). They have a Wild Mouse and those scare me because I'm afraid that I'll fall off the edge swinging around those hairpins.

The water park attached looks pretty cute. I can't wait to go in it.

enjoying my new cell!!!

I was just up at Dorney less than a month ago for the first time in a while...all the coasters there are great, but my favorite is Hydra (the low-speed inversion right out of the station is one of the most novel things Ive ever experienced on a coaster)...if its a hot and sunny day, most people will be at Wildwater Kingdom and the lines for coasters will be insanely short so you should be able to get a good amount of rides in...

Yayy!

It was a fun time. My favorite roller coaster there was steel force and we sat in the very back!!!! 75 beautiful mph. So much fun.

It was really crowded though, lol. There were sooo many people there.

My friends had a great time and my little brother and his friend seemed to as well.

Hope to do it again soon!

The only roller coaster I have been in is that goofy one inside the Mall of America at Camp Snoopy. I guess I'm not a coaster fan. On a side note, can any Minnesotans enlighten me on the name of the "theme park" inside of the mall? Last I heard, they had decided not to renew the contract with whoever uses the Peanuts as their mascots. I think CedarFair uses them, but I could be wrong.

Yay for theme parks. Always fun.
I flew up to BLK for the day to visit one of the more famous theme parks.
The queues were short, VERY short, and The Pepsi Max Big One (currently the UKs tallest rollercoaster [or is it still europes]) was excelent.

Great park.

Kev.

Sadly to say, i am petrified of roller coasters, i just know i wouldnt feel safe in them like i do when im flying, heights affect me a lot too..but again its different when im flying as i get a sense of security.

Plus, i absolutely hate it when it 'catches' my stomach on a big drop.
