Damn...I didn't realise you meant in India only, but since I bothered to open this thread and read it, I'll respond with the news that its 45 degrees Celcius in my city (which is Dubai as of last week) and since I'm pretty close to India and there are many Indians here, I feel justified in adding my contribution

Yes its been raining a lot the past Three weeks,However it has slowed down in the last 24 hrs.
The Monsoon season normally ends by Mid September.
Average wise this year the Rains have been more.

Er, The rains are a welcome relief from the sweltering heat, and not neccessarily considered 'bad' weather! Of course it gets a bit much when it goes on for days on end when you are wading in knee-deep water and getting assaulted by various icky insects at night...
