The thread about Americans not traveling around the world gave me this idea: let us make everybody else envious by showing our vacation's favorite pics! After all, we are at the end of the summer and plenty of us made a trip, or two just for the sake relaxing and enjoying ourselves. Either in your own country or in the vast world, don't be shy and share the mementos of your last vacations.

Mine:

Rome

Saint Peter's Plaza in a cold winter morning. That day I had the chance to visit John Paul II's grave. (January 2006).

San Juan de Ullua Fort, Veracruz

San Juan de Ullua Fort, in Veracruz (Mexico). This is one of the landmarks of this historic port. (April 2006).
Big version: Width: 1024 Height: 768 File size: 322kb
Jerusalem

The Holy Sepulcher Church in Jerusalem. It was a once in a lifetime trip. (July 2006).

In one of your photos, you show a key chain. It is square, blue overall, with a yellow equals sign. What does that mean?

I see them all over Dallas on bumper stickers, and I must know!

Thanks,

Its the symbol/logo for Human Rights Campaign. The link takes you to their site, but basically its the national advocacy group for LGBT Civil Rights. That particular key chain was given out during San Francisco Pride this year.
